Main Street Board of Directors

The Portland Main Street Board of Directors was formed in early 2008 and consists of a quorum of the Portland Downtown Development Authority members and the chairperson of each of the four Main Street Committees.  Current members include:

• Joel VanSlambrouck, MS Board Chair (Chair of Organization & Finance Committee; Owner of Granny's Gift Corner in Raffaeles' Marketplace [and G&B Pool & Spa])
• Georgina Trappen, Treasurer (DDA Member; Owner of Cheeky Monkeys Coffee House & Bakery; member of Design Committee)
• Kathy Parsons, Secretary (Chair of Design Committee; Owner of Grider Portland Insurance Agency)
• Julie Clement (Chair of Economic Revitalization Committee; Owner of Raffaeles' Marketplace)
• Wanda Urie (DDA Member; Chair of Promotions & Marketing Committee; Owner of Distinctive Occasions)
• Margery Briggs (DDA Member; Owner of Two Rivers Counseling; member of Design Committee)
• Rush Clement (DDA Member; Owner of Raffaeles' Marketplace and DaVinci Custom Framing; member of Organization & Finance Committee)
• Katie Ulrych (Main Street Manager & DDA Director) (non-voting member) 

Meeting

The Main Street Board of Directors meets on the first Wednesday of each month at 8:00 a.m. at Cheeky Monkeys Bakery & Coffee House.  The April meeting will be held on April 9 (same time and place) to allow the Chair and the Manager to attend state and national Main Street meetings.
